Leaving for hometown:

Her mother -in-law abused her for having spoiled their family name. But she told her father -in-law that her purpose of living on earth was yet to be realised and that she would let the world know soon. She made her father-in-law display the towel and out of her divine powers she filled with turmeric, lemon and flowers.

Reaching her motherland

At this point of time in her life, Sri Rangammal decided to leave her unloving husband and treacherous mother-in-law. On her way to her parental village she had to cross a river. She reached the riverbank and with her mystical powers she made the river flow with ebbing water which was until then water less. She had her brief bath and then marched towards her homeland.

The end of Pera Naidu:

Pera Naidu's purpose of living on earth came to dawning. When he was engaged in the work in the fields, out of committed wrong, he fell ill. On a Thursday morning in the Astha Nakshathra he left their earthly life to attain the blissful divinity. Even though initially Sri Rangammal was shocked at his death later she pacified her mind and prayed to godess Renuka Devi. With her husband's death her purpose of life on earth had come to an end.

Sri Rangammal's preparation for the prayer:

She asked her father-in-law to take her to Madukattipalyam wherein he should be cremated .She also added that she would enter the pyre according to the God's wish. She had led a pure life, sacrificed by her divine traits earned a good reputation from the people around her. She asked her father-in-law to prepare the pyre and the father to get her jewels and new clothing.

The funeral pyre was made ready. Her father had bought the silk cloth from a shop in the Chennimalai(the adjacent town). On the seventh day of the generated pyre, on a Thursday evening, Sri Rangammal performed her prayers and poojas to the god. After getting blessing from people around, she reached Madukatypalayam on Friday evening. Three women brought the fire with them.

Advocacy:

After the completion of poojas before plunging the prepared fire, Sri Rangammal pronounced her sound advocacy to her people she asked her people to be compassionate to their fellow human beings and surrender to the will of God. With her remarkable grace she asked her people to live a life of purity and sanity.Since she went in to the fire on the seventh day after Pera Naidus cremation.She pronounced that "Seven" is a number which has tobe totally avoided in the Dugginar and Namburar's family.Every girl child born in these families should not have oil bath on Friday's.Those who approached her with devotion and total surrender will receive in turn profound grace. After saying this, She plunged in to the fire and assembled crowd applauded with awesome wonder. Since then she became the legend in the lives of those who believe her and with readiness worship her.

Sri Rangammal's father, Kondamma Naidu had built a small memorial for both of them in this place. The statues were supposed to have been sculpted out of one single stone with no gap. The memorial is still unaltered and even the priest who performs the poojas has to bend down to reach the image. This took concrete shape thereafter and the neighboring villages visited regularly.

By worshipping the deity with appropriate discipline,the deity becomes a storehouse of spiritual power from which flows a stream of grace to the soul of a devotee .Hence it ceases to be a mere museum and turns in to a centre of spiritual powers .They teach us volumes of wisdom then any number of books and makes us experience the tranquility of life .Congretional worship provides a great effect on those who take part in it.The majesty serenity and beauty of the deity at once apts man to a higher realm where his littleness vanishes,unveiling the infinite horizon of the divine .It makes people feel that they belong to one great culture and civilisation .Our fervid prayers unveils the self and comes to manifest as pure wisdom in our life.
